Planning is under way for the 2026-27 Gala to raise funds for Newport High School Band! In the past, we've had the Newport Bands performing:

• Symphonic Band

• Concert Band

• Wind Ensemble

• Jazz Band & Combos

• Scarlet Knights Percussion

And guests also enjoyed:

• Silent Auction

• Appetizers, Dinner & Desserts

• Swing Dance Lesson!

Do you have an idea to make the Gala even more memorable? Submit your ideas to the galaauctioncommittee@newportband.com .

Invite your friends and family and we look forward to seeing you there!

We need your help to procure items for our silent auction. We need gift cards from your favorite restaurants and stores as well as bottles of wine. Tickets and events are really popular. Do you have tickets to sports events, concerts, operas, the theater, or museum memberships that you could donate? How about donating vacation and travel items like time-shares, a round of golf, time in a vacation home, car rentals? Such items are often irresistible.

Get your kids involved. Can they donate a service like tutoring sessions or art classes? Could you offer something like a virtual cooking class or host a dinner?

The band kids will benefit from your generous contributions. Donate today!

If you’d like to contribute, please contact Karia Wong via email at galaauctioncommittee@newportband.com

The gala wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers! We need your help today to help make this event a success.

Find something you can do to help the band prosper and feel the sense of community behind this terrific event!

Can you help make a dessert? Got strong arms to help set up? Could you help with registration as people arrive? We need you!

Do you have a business and want to advertise your support of the community, the arts, and education. We’d love to have you sponsor the gala. Various sponsor levels are available for very reasonable costs (and a tax write-off). The band wins and so does your business. Sponsor today!
