What We Do

The Newport Band Parents Association (NBPA) enriches our students’ band experience in many ways…

  • We provide information to parents
  • We encourage parent involvement with the band program
  • We plan and host special events
  • We coordinate volunteers
  • We support the Newport High School Band staff
  • We provide a forum for new ideas
  • We raise and administer funds to support band opportunities and supplement the equipment budget, allowing us to buy and repair instruments for the students and to provide need-based student financial assistance for various events

2017-2018 NBPA Board

The Board meets once per month during the school year, generally on the first Tuesday of the month. Check the Charms calendar for exact dates.  Families of band members are welcome to join us. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have.
